Job Description

PESPONSIBILITIES;

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as transportation and supply chain processes.
• Responsible for obtaining the mandatory permits and registrations of the company to provide import activities.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring import operations such as preparation or verification of necessary shipping documents, organization of customs clearance.
• Will be responsible in managing, organizing and monitoring the storage, warehousing, inventory and distribution of goods.
• Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Negotiate and liaise with the forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, carriers, 3 PL operators.
• Keep track of quantity, quality, delivery times, stock levels, efficiency, and incurred logistics costs.
• Ensure that quality, quantity customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met as per the deadlines.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
• Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, carriers, 3 PL operators.
• Manage and develop logistics staff.
• Create and manage budgets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze the data to assess the current performance and implement improvements as and when required.
